As some have mentioned, this year is a clean up class with targeting some specific positions. We dont need a 25-30 recruit class necessarily. Also, going to be some late recruits in February so 14 in first wave is alright.

We had 12 kids signed during the early signing period last year. This year we already have 14 verbals and counting. You guys need to relax.

We only have 11 seniors on this years roster and 2 of those are Jabari Johnson and Alex Neale who are trying to get another year (didn’t count Logan Jones since he is coming back for sure). Assuming Jabari and Alex can’t come back, that is only 11 new openings for the team next year. I would think that we are close to having a full class at 14 recruits already.

Don’t forget that the Cats had three recruits from last year that didn’t make it to fall camp. Not sure if they were all full rides, but I assume they were. There always seems to be departures after the season too.

Always have some medical retires, others that hang up the cleats and transfers. And half scholarship's and walk on.

I have had the same thought as the title of this post.

It isn't any big philosophical issue with needs, graduation, under achievements, etc.

I just like "booms"!!

They are my "bright-shiney-objects".
