Tucker Yates, if you read this forum...

I'm the idiot who just stopped you in Target meaning to thank you for working so hard, for sacrificing your body for our beloved Bobcats, for all the great memories. Instead, I fumbled over my words and said something to the effect of "It ended great..." and it took me a second to add on "...in Missoula." I must have sounded like an incredibly insensitive (possibly ignorant) tool since you must have been thinking, Nice comment, pal. Things didn't go so well at NDSU. I can only explain by it saying that now I will always associate you with "The Stuff," the greatest ending to one of the greatest Cat-Griz games in my lifetime. Please forgive me for being a little starstruck. You are a hero to this family.

He's a legend, and I hope history is as kind to him as some other Bobcat greats.

A bigger motor I can’t recall , don’t know how many times I’ve saw him pursue sideline to sideline , running
W/ the backers and safeties . One of my all time favorites .

I watched Tucker wrestle in the State tournament as a Freshman and he was a beast. He dominated upperclassmen, and I knew he would be special. Sure enough, I was correct!

I saw him at state wrestling (I think his junior and senior years?) and state track every year. He was just one of those "different" kids that stands out and you knew he'd be a stud at something. And I never even saw him play football until he got to MSU.

Dan Ogden had a similar motor and chronic bad ankles to boot. Didn't have quite as much skill as Yates, though.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

“Doing it Oggy Style” I loved those shirts when Dan played. I think his whole family wore them to games. I would put dan and tucker in the same group.
