The Bobcats have nothing to lose, so they may as well try to match NDSU’s physicality, discipline and focus all game. That way they’ll at least know where they stack up with the Bison. Curious to see if the old dog (Messingham) has any trick plays up his sleeve. The Bison have been kind of vanilla in that regard.

I think they are vanilla because they dominate the line of scrimmage and simply don't need to do anything else. Every coach in America would love the luxury of being able to trot out a vanilla offense and take no risks because they don't have to. Billings Central was that way this year in Class A.
That being said, let's hope the 'Cats can disrupt things a little and make it interesting. GO CATS!

He’s playing today. I don’t know how much but can’t imagine our staff would trot him out there if they didn’t think he could be effective. Nice addition.

I obviously don’t know the specifics but back surgery is back surgery. Wonder if today will be a barometer of his football future?
