Round 2 Refs

Post by catapult » Mon Nov 26, 2018 9:17 pm

Last weekend we had a crew from the MO Valley....any idea what conference pool will ref this weekend? If it’s a big sky group and they struggle I could see the crowd eating them alive!

One nice thing about being in the playoffs. We'll never have BSC refs!!!

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14.

From what I heard, OVC is not good either.

It would seem that with only 8 FCS football games both last week and this week the NCAA should be able to pretty much use only their top rated reffing crews. Why not reward the best crews with another game and hopefully a bump in compensation too. The best teams vying for the ultimate goal of a national championship deserve the best officiating and visa versa. This might mean that there won't be any game refed by a BSC crew. Just saying.
Does anyone know if the refing crews are selected based on a rating system of their regular season performance?

Somehow one of the worst BSC crews got the Kennesaw-Wofford game

And they are making their presence felt. Just whistled an extra point dead... then huddled up to announce "there is no foul"! Classic!!!

Maybe this is why we are losing some of the top recruits because of BSC and Pac-12 officials.
