Student section was mid-field in the east stands, but I sat in the North end zone stands for one of the home games during the playoffs in '84. I don't remember when they got rid of them - maybe when the west side was re-done? A few years after the championship there wasn't a need for all of the seating we had

I always liked Reno H Sales stadium, 3 or 4th best venue in the BSC

When it was built it might have been the 2nd best venue behind Boise.

I remember being in the north end zone stands for a playoff game in Bozeman in '84. It had snowed a LOT the night prior to the game and a bunch of us were enlisted to shovel snow off of the stands and were allowed to just stick around for the game. I am pretty sure it was the Arkansas State game because I distinctly remember the opposing team NOT liking the conditions.
If I recall correctly, Arkansas State wore fishnet jerseys that day.

Love these AFCAT! This picture was 1972 at Van Winkle stadium (versus Idaho if I recall correctly) and that peace dude was Terry Totten who was a Cat player the year before and was, shall we say, a "happy" former Bobcat!
