This is interesting. This was one alumnis' 1970 conception of what the new football stadium should look like. I don't really get it, but very futuristic.

What if...they had built the current stadium right on the site of Gatton Field instead of way out in the middle of nowhere (which it was at the time Sales Stadium was built)?

Not sure there was room for 15,000 seats

Some of these bring back some great memories as a young boy. We went to a ton of games in the 60's especially after my older brothers started attending college!
