The one obvious thing is that we actually have THE best team in the country. If the refs were not so biased we would have won all of our games. :^o ](*,) :deadhorse: :suds:

It’s nice to finally see people acknowledge what everyone knew all along.

Here's something complimentary about the refs:
Those stripes are very flattering.

Here, for all of the Big Sky refs....

I reffed for 3 years can I complain?
Yes. I hereby knight you Sir Complainalot.
I don’t think that is really a fair characterization. This season has been full of complainers from QB to Offense to stadium to fans. Celtic along with others makes an accurate statement about how bad officiating has been and he is labeled “sir complainalot”? Nobody is saying that reffing is easy. But clearly the Big Sky refs have to improve. This would not be a weekly topic if the conference would take actions to improve the quality.
It was a joke.

You are correct. The refs are a joke.

Defensive delay of game! Nuff said.

It makes me sleep better at night knowing all you experts - who most likely have never refereed anything in your lives - are out on the front lines protecting us from all of these incompetent referees.

Just once I wish somebody on this site would pay a referee a compliment. In my opinion you're just a bunch of low class bitchers.
Ive been an official for 15 years.....I complement officials plenty....when they deserve it

The UNC replay was on Root yesterday and I had a chance to catch parts of the game. Can somebody explain “disconcerting signals / defensive delay of game”? Choate was livid and that was about the 5th time that has been called against us this year. The UNC player clearly false started, but are they saying the defense drew them offsides when we shifted??

That gave UNC a first and then the refs called a penaltyI think against Choate for complaining that put the ball at about the 15 and another first down.

the refs are basically saying that the DLine call to shift is simulating the QB cadence. Choate's response to that, is the QB doesn't shout out "Move!" or "Shift!" to signal the center to snap the ball. Additionally, that's something the coaches and officials discuss before the game.

Disconcerting signals basically means you attempt to simulate the snap to draw a false start. I believe it is more concerned with what is said than done. You can't yell something like "SET GO".

That being said I find it extremely improbable that we'd have that called against us 3 times in one season.

There's one white hat guy I'm hoping we don't see tomorrow. Goofy nerdy guy with glasses. In addition to the Cat games, I've seen him muck everything up in other games I've watched on Root and Pluto.

Crowley, absolutly the worst reffing crew anywhere

Don’t give him any credit. The only touch he ever had was Bobby’s gentle caress.

I just waded into the cesspool over on egriz, because who knows why. I'm rocking my beautiful little girl back to sleep and felt i have too much goodness and innocence in my life and needed some darkness and idiocy, maybe? Anyway, their super hot take is that the timeout was bs, that the ball was snapped. Lol. I rewatched the game last night, line judge is 2 steps in the green when it's snapped. I've heard many bad reffing whines, but that takes it. Poor folks, the stress seems almost more than they can bear.
