I always enjoyed and valued Alex both in college and the CFL. He will land well. Just hope its either the Chiefs or Seahawks or I'll have another team to root for.
Chiefs would be a nice fit. And they're desperately in need of LB help.

Good.

Just saw Skyline Sports retweet this
Are tackles a good measure of how good a defensive football player is?
Yes... when they have to be made!
That's funny, but what I mean is don't you end up with a lot of tackles if your defense isn't very good and the other team runs a lot of plays or if the other players on your team aren't making tackles?
Some defenses are designed for a couple of players to make the majority of the plays.

So would the Vikings. Barr will be gone next year and they will have only one quality LB on the team.

I was wondering that as well. The Eagles play the Saints, and they will obviously need all the defensive help they can get. I don't know what the rules are for teams picking up players in the middle of the playoffs. But it seems like an odd time to pick somebody up just to stash them on the practice squad.

No he will join the roster next year. He just played a 20+ game season, he probably needs a bit of rest lol.

Awesome! It is about time, He was ready for the NFL when he left MSU IMO. The Eagles just got better for sure. Which linebacker position might he play in the Eagles D? Are they a 4/3 or 3/4?

I sure that Coach Dave Dickinson will miss Singleton on the defense, but must be happy that he won't have to don a Bobcat t-shirt the week after the Cat-Griz game now.

The Seahawks had their chance!

Maybe not the only thing to consider but it is a fair measure. Here are a few names from the top 20 nfl tackle list- Jessie Tuggle, Ray Lewis, Clay Matthews, Junior Seau, Chris Spielman, Ronnie Lott.....those guys seem to be fairly talented.
