um QB runs for 200+ yards and griz twitter basically creams their pants. Andersen rushes for MORE yards and we have a thread arguing whether he should start or not lol.
Ummm, no. We all think he should start. Some people think he should start at QB, even though he's been somewhere between bad & mediocre throwing the ball.
Ummm...
Sneed had a passer rating of 128.4
Andersen had a rating of 137.7
Andersen/Rovig combined 165.1
Sneed had 0 receiving yards; Andersen had 32.

The O is not our story next week.
This^. I'm perfectly fine with our options on offense. If the run game isn't clicking, we can toss Tucker in there to loosen things up. Now our defense on the other hand, our front 7 is struggling mightily with shifty, speedy specialists on offense. The loss of Josh Hill has been the biggest loss of the year so far. I know our run game can be dominant with Troy. We can control the clock and game with him on offense. But we really need some help at LB right now.
This is spot on. We are having issues stopping quick backs. This could be an Achilles heel on defense

This....I disagree about the QB position (my opinion is that Rovig is the guy), but the front 7 is a HUGE concern...Eastern will eat us alive if we cant get to the QB with 4....If you have to blitz against an offense like theirs....They will pick you apart over the middle...And if our secondary has to play zone, because of the lack of a rush, then next week will be a LONG game...

What if they plan on starting Rovig next week? Maybe Choate knew we could ground n pound PSU but thinks we need to air it out against EWU! Or maybe Jonsen starts! Better plan for them all Eagles!
Maybe but I’ll bet you a bottle of anything that barring injury TA starts.
I’d have bet you a bottle of anything a week ago Tucker Rovig was our starter moving forward. Coaching staff is unpredictable. I’m hoping on purpose. It’s working up to now so cheers. No complaining about 3-1.

Wait, didn't they only score once in the second half? Am I the only one on the planet that doesn't think the sky is falling on either side of the ball. Well, maybe PAT's

We need to look to next week. TA is the guy and barring injury that’s not gonna change. Offense won’t be the concern next week. I don’t know about you guys but I’m way more curious what our current defense is gonna do against an offense that put up 70 today.

Won’t speak to whether you’re the only person on the planet. However...PSU could not be farther from the Eagles in terms off offense....

I happen to believe we'll get plenty of pressure with 4. Gage won't be running around like this maniac either.

Of course they're not EWU. I just happen to believe our front 4 and secondary can cause some problems for them too. Particularly if Jacque is playing. 20,000 screaming Bobcat fans won't hurt either. This is our best chance to beat these guys in probably 4 years. Oh and BTW they're not going to be able to stop us either.

He may not, although he had 4 carries for 50 yards today. But they ran for 441 as a team. 14.7 yards per carry. Our run D has been our biggest issue so that's a little concerning. We have to get lined up right, take better angles and tackle better next week unlike the 1st 4 games, or we could be hurting. I think with Borges playing well, Konkol needs to slide up to LB some.

It’s almost like the coaching staff knew that PSU’s wacky hybrid flex defense has a hard time stopping qb run.

I think Sneed throwing for 260 while running for 200 was the reason

Again, apples to oranges. Sneed has basically another quarter up on TA, and Rovig came in for a handful of snaps. And AGAIN, just being a smart ass, Sneed had an impressive game, no need to exaggerate to support your point (234 is now 260!?)

Can anybody at the game, or listening on radio, give me the details of what happened on the failed two point attempt? The tv coverage didn't show it, then I saw Choate chewing out Travis Jonsen afterwards.

Well we rushed for over 400 years last year.
