I know it’s early, but I figured I’d start a prediction thread for next week. And since we have the ability to have polls on this new forum setup, figured I’d do it that way.

I’m doing 4 options, basically are they going to win comfortably, win a close one, lose a close one or lose by a good margin?

Maybe combine this with score projection thread that we usually do and comment on it with what you think the score will actually be?

Great win last night, and great start to the season. Some things to clean up for sure, but the Cats are 1-0 and have potentially their toughest game of the year on the schedule next.

Yea I jumped the gun a little bit and posted this a bit early, I’m going to do the same and see the games this weekend and watch for the injury info before I make a pick myself.

and Cody's brother (& Mychal's son) at QB for ISU - he was 6-3 as the starter last year, leading them to some decent wins (Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Baylor, and a win over Memphis in the Liberty Bowl) hope he shreds those bunnys

Same here, I'll wait to see our injury report, and how they do against what looks to be a powerful Iowa State team. One positive for us is the extra days of rest and prep whereas they are playing a late Saturday game against a Big 12 team. They might get a bit beaten up.

We’ve got a pretty clear picture where we need to make improvements and what our priorities are.

Tough call in my opinion. Many coaches say the most improvement in a team is ussally between games 1 and 2 so advantage MSU there. However, they won't be all beat up and sore from playing Iowa State so they should be super fresh. Also they'll have our game film and we don't have anything on them.
