Yep, that's what I've been hearing al along, despite the naysayers. Granted, he still has a ways to go before he puts that jersey on but I have a feeling CM will be a part of the Championship Bobcat team in 2019.

Is his semester already complete? Seems early to have final grades and be admitted. Also, he has to be cleared by the ncaa and be on track to receive a degree. Not necessarily doubting the news, it just seems early. I wasn’t expecting to hear anything for 3-4 more weeks.

He could probably be at a point he knows he can come back to school. He didn't say he's rejoining the team necessarily.

You should be pretty clear on Dec 1 if you can come back to school in January. NCAA would still have to clear him to rejoin the team, but if your stuff is together, its should be a non-issue. It is the NCAA, though...

I didn't feel like looking back through the thread. What is his status as far as scholarships? Is the team sitting on an unused scholarship that he can be on for Spring semester? Does he have to pay his own way until he is offered again?

I am pretty sure he has to pay. Maybe if he can come back for spring and lights it up, he'll get it back for fall. Really proud of the kid for sticking to it!

Me too. It would be really easy to quit. Shows a lot of the characteristics that we all should be super proud of !

How about Rovig, Bauman, and Beltran? Kassis? Jonsen? Patterson? I think there might be more, but those are the ones that come to mind.
