Re: Barkley decision
Guys....this is a huge get. He's 6'0", 180-190 and can flat out fly. Also excels out of the backfield for another way to utilize him. The MSU offense needed another experienced receiver/weapon and they got a SEC transfer. Great job by the coaching staff!

Re: Barkley decision
Nice!
His film actually reminds me a bit of Everett Gilbert. Has a bit more size than Gilbert, but not a lot.

Re: Barkley decision
Maybe I missed it in the article, but how many years of eligibility does he have left?

Re: Barkley decision
I think the biggest challenge with these high level transfers is getting them to buy into our culture and really play for the team.

Re: Barkley decision
Agree...but his post says "bigger than me." So I think that's the expectation when Choate recruits players.Common Cat wrote: ↑Fri Jun 22, 2018 3:23 pmI think the biggest challenge with these high level transfers is getting them to buy into our culture and really play for the team.

Having a very level headed brother who played here, and still lives here, will help that a lot. I’m not worried about it.

Re: Barkley decision
I think Choate was on the road to recruit a Montana kid...and Barkley made his decision while Choate was out of service.
