BOOM!! Level Price, Jr.
Nothing official, but it looks like Price is coming to MSU as noted by Hawks86 in the 2018 Recruiting sticky. Price is a Scout and 247 3-star cornerback out of St. John Bosco.

Re: Bang! Level Price, Jr.
The underlying question here, at least for me, is why is he unsigned at this point? Looks like he had offers from Vanderbilt, Boston College, those are the only two I can see. I would guess there was a couple handfuls of FCS offers in there, too.

Might’ve been holding out for PAC12.Team10 wrote:The underlying question here, at least for me, is why is he unsigned at this point? Looks like he had offers from Vanderbilt, Boston College, those are the only two I can see. I would guess there was a couple handfuls of FCS offers in there, too.

With ACC and SEC offers I don't think that was the case but perhaps. It's not like they were MWC or SunBelt offers. Players may not see it the same as us in people in the work force, but Vanderbilt and Boston College are two educations I wouldn't pass on.TomCat88 wrote:Might’ve been holding out for PAC12.Team10 wrote:The underlying question here, at least for me, is why is he unsigned at this point? Might have been something around grades and getting those up first, too. The Griz recently signed a RB out of WA named Dax Solis. I found it strange as well and was trying to figure out how he didn't get scooped up earlier (his stats were super impressive) and why he didn't go to another school. Then it all came out that he needed to get his grades up and prove he could do well in school. Once he showed that, the Griz grabbed him. Perhaps a similar situation?Team10 wrote:With ACC and SEC offers I don't think that was the case but perhaps. It's not like they were MWC or SunBelt offers. Re: Bang! Level Price, Jr.
Price has run a sub-11.0 100 meters and is on a 4x100 relay that has run a 41.56, which would be the second fastest in MT high school history.
His dad tweeted that he’ll be at MSU on July 16.
Price only played in six games this year according to MaxPreps. Not sure if he was injured or what, or if that’s a typo. That could be why he went unsigned for so long. As a junior he split time at the corner opposite Tyrel Thomas.

Good possibility he's a PWO.iaafan wrote:Price has run a sub-11.0 100 meters and is on a 4x100 relay that has run a 41.56, which would be the second fastest in MT high school history.

I love his quick burst catch up speed. He has really good instincts at seeing and reacting to a play and providing tight coverage! He also will come up and stick his head in on the run game and tackle. He looks like another great prospect in the secondary.

Also odd that zero coaches follow him on twitter. Not usually the case with the way this coaching staff recruits. Anyway, if he's here in the fall, never can have enough cornerbacks...especially in the Big Sky.

God catch VIM. Same as what happened to others that wouldn't commit early and stay committed. May have decided he needs to go the Walk on route and earn a spot instead of going JUCO.VimSince03 wrote:Also odd that zero coaches follow him on twitter. He's working out with the team and was in Felix's photos. You have to be at least a PWO to take part in summer workouts(I think).

Why? They are player led, no coaches or oversight?

Re: Bang! Level Price, Jr.
This is not totally true. Coaches can have, and do have contact with the team during summer work outs. If i am not mistaken they get like 4 hours a week that they can have contact with them.
