Is Pluto still a thing for next year? It obviously wasn't ideal but I was able to see much of the games that weren't on Root.

It was nice of Root to give UM equal time to MSU.
MSU - 15 team National Champions (most recent 2021); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

And this would mean Audience will be carrying the Root games, correct?DaCats21 wrote:2018 ROOT Sports Schedule

What I see is that either MSU, UM or EWU play every week. Idaho gets 3 games because they play those 3 teams. I don't mean to smack our new conference brothers this early, but damn. Logically one would think Root would be salivating at the opportunity to cover and FBS drop down school. Nope. The viewership and money continues to reside firmly on Interstate 90.

That was the case last year. Really hoping they do the same this year! ROOT is missing from all streaming services. Also, Audience is available nationwide.RickRund wrote:And this would mean Audience will be carrying the Root games, correct?DaCats21 wrote:2018 ROOT Sports Schedule

Not sure how many years the Pluto deal was. Hope they pick up all the non Root games though. Very handy, especially if you have a connected device on your tvPapaG wrote:Is Pluto still a thing for next year? It obviously wasn't ideal but I was able to see much of the games that weren't on Root.

The problem with the rivalry is the years that you guys don't get to play in the "upper division".WSUWILDCAT wrote:3 straight years of Montana State vs Weber State on Root Sports....is root trying to build a rivalry?

We could if the Big Sky would replace our "protected rivalry" with Idaho State with Montana State

And how does Eleven Sports fit into the mix going forward? There was one game last year (NAU) that wasn't televised by either Root or SWX. The only way you could watch it, here in Montana at least, was either on Pluto, or Eleven Sports, which is listed in my Spectrum channel guide, but apparently not yet available in Montana, or at least it wasn't last fall. I also checked with several sports bars here in GF, because I thought it might be available from one of the satellite providers, but none of them had even heard of Eleven Sports. I presume that SWX will again pick up all or at least most of the games that aren't being carried by Root this fall?DaCats21 wrote:Not sure how many years the Pluto deal was. Again, Im not sure how many years the Pluto and Eleven deals were, but last year Eleven got second tier games. Which means, after ROOT picks their schedule, Eleven has its pick of the remaining games. Eleven did a conf game of the week like ROOT does. All games airing on Eleven were also simulcast on Pluto.John K wrote:And how does Eleven Sports fit into the mix going forward? Eleven used to be One World Sports and debuted as Eleven Sports Network last spring. It was initially on Spectrum cable, but is no longer apart of their package. It is on Directv channel 623 and is also on PlayStation Vue.

Eleven Sports is available on Direct Tv. Not sure about other cable providers.John K wrote:And how does Eleven Sports fit into the mix going forward? We need to play every year, just like the deal we set up with Eastern.WSUWILDCAT wrote:3 straight years of Montana State vs Weber State on Root Sports....is root trying to build a rivalry?

I would love it if Weber and MSU played every year.
