I saw Pearl Jam at the fairgrounds in a barn before they hit even MTV and also Dave Matthews Band at the Cat's Paw all within a year or so back in the early post-glam rock days. The idea of Imagine Dragons coming to Bozeman boggles my mind. The big bands that played at the Brick in my day were Steve Miller Band on a glory days' tour and maybe Tesla, if memory serves correct? Phish played there too in maybe 1992ish but I wasn't a fan and didn't go to that show.

Dude, I was on the concert committee back in the day and worked Waylon Jennings, Jesse Colter, and WIllie Nelson, the Doobie Brothers, Country Joe McDonald and the Fish, Head East...etc.. Fun days.PapaG wrote:I saw Pearl Jam at the fairgrounds in a barn before they hit even MTV and also Dave Matthews Band at the Cat's Paw all within a year or so back in the early post-glam rock days. As I recall, the Spring Thaw was Allman Brothers, Hank Williams jr. Mission Mountain Wood Band...and from there it got kinda fuzzy...

And prior to that was Neil Diamond, Johnny Cash, Charlie Pride twice, Herb Alpert, Sonny and Cher, John Denver - and the list goes on. That big venue was the only place anywhere near that place.

I don't remember Pearl Jam but I do remember Alice In Chains playing the fairgrounds before they were famous.PapaG wrote:I saw Pearl Jam at the fairgrounds in a barn before they hit even MTV and also Dave Matthews Band at the Cat's Paw all within a year or so back in the early post-glam rock days.
