6 home games, 6 road games.

No bueno although I'm guessing Choate's idea is that if they aren't good enough to win 4 out of 6 road games and all at home, they aren't competing for a championship anyhow.

Why? Still have 6 home games like every other season. Would you rather they play a craptastic DII school at home and scrap one of the away game?

An all D-I schedule for 2017, 2018, and 2019. This is what I've wanted for years and the current administration finally appears to agree. Down with D-II games! The only thing I don't like about the 2019 schedule is that it contains none of MSU's four geographically closest conference opponents other than UM (Weber, ISU, UI, and EWU).

So we've apparently decided to stop scheduling EWU as one of our NC games when we don't play them in the rotation?

I'll take this schedule any day over another BSC team being played instead.

WOW!
'
So sweet to have the next two schedules finalized. In prior years we still wouldn't know the '18 schedule no less the 19 schedule.

The only bad thing is that we play Southern Utah at home.....that is a great road trip......COCKTAILS!!!!!

I'd rather they play a "craptastic" FCS team at home like the Griz did last year instead of Texas Tech, but I realize the money implications of it. Look at the 2016 Washington Huskies, who played three joke home OOC games and made the CFP with one loss. Had they gone on the road and played a real team, and lost, they would have been rewarded for trying. They would have been out of the playoffs. Alabama this year had a horrible schedule yet still made the CFB, and they haven't traveled for a true OOC road game for years and STILL play an FCS team every November. Doesn't hurt SEC schools only having 8 conference games and maybe one decent OOC game, usually at home or at a neutral site, in terms of making the playoffs.

Georgia this year did play at Notre Dame, which every in the SEC thought was a big deal, but USC and Stanford play at Notre Dame every other year along with playing 9 conference games.

Aren't those "Big Sky" OOC games over now? I thought they were on the schedule the past few years because they were already set after conference expansion, and it would have been a pain in the ass for all of those Big Sky teams to replace those games after new teams were added to the league. I may be completely wrong on this, though.

Nope, Weber and Poly scheduled a h&h with each other that starts this season and ends next season. Big Sky schools can and are still scheduling each other

I like the all D1 schedule....I would prefer an all FCS schedule....but this looks good. And kudos to Costello and company in getting these schedules done early...helps for those of us out-of-staters who like to make travel plans way in advance!

Why is North Dakota on the 2019 schedule? I thought they will be gone from the Big Sky. Also, I am disappointed that UI, EWU, ID St, or Weber is not on the schedule.
