Sorry guys...will post 50-41 tomorrow to get back on track. In good news, the list is finished. Just fine tuning some stuff.

Players ranked 35-31 have been posted. Will update the quick scouting reports for 40-31 to finish the week. 30-11 will be posted next week. 10-1 the week after. Then the "best of the rest" will get a shout out the final week prior to signing day because, quite frankly, so many more kids deserve recognition that don't make the Top 50.

What was the best offense MSU shut down the last three seasons? The 2016 Griz? Held them almost 180 yards below their average and 17 points was 22.5 below average. Other than that no one was really held in check.

Wrong thread but MSU's defense did a relatively good job of holding opposing offenses under their average during Ty's tenure. But in all honesty, the best performance was in 2016 against the Griz. They were the #2 offense in 2016 in the Big Sky and they struggled all day other than first possession. Held them to 305 yards and 23 points when they averaged 482 yards and 40 points per game that season. As far as other offenses, Idaho State always struggled to score points against Gregorak-coached MSU defenses. Never felt he called great games against EWU for those three years. Did fairly well against all run-heavy teams. Got to face Case Cookus in 2017 (he didn't start the game in 2016) and those results were also mixed (gave up 37 points and a boatload of yards). So yeah....you could say Ty's crowning moments as MSU's defensive coordinator were each time he faced UM.

I had heard recently that this was the most likely outcome.

Durham at MSU-B is making a big push for him.

30-21 have been updated on first page. Scouting reports to come. I've been shifting the rollout of the list a little bit. 20-11 will be revealed next week. 10-1 the week after. The "Best of the Rest" in the days prior to signing day.

Tudor said Gilliard, who stands at 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, recently gave a verbal commitment to be a preferred walk-on for Montana State's football team while Stultz is set to play baseball at MSU Billings.
Welcome aboard Logan! A lot to like with this kid's potential. He is one of the best power forwards in the state in basketball. Projects as a TE or DE in college though he played some linebacker for Bigfork as well. You can see my thoughts on him by following this link: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=47179.

He has FCS talent. My #3 WR behind Dixon and Owens. Tech is building an unreal in-state class.

So in Carroll's years of dominance were they getting lots of players that were FCS talent or getting the most out of guys over performing?

A mix of both but I would say they mostly developed players really well. Casey Fitzsimmons is a great example.

#40 on my final Top 50. Riley has great potential at LB.

Gibb’s standout football season caught the eyes of schools like Montana and Montana State. Admittedly, Gibb said, it’d be fun to remain teammates with Jesse Owens and Trevin Gradney with the Griz. But Gibb has already been accepted to Duke, where he plans to study engineering.
