Maybe you weren’t critical, but you are negative. We post these great things about a major recruit and instead of showing excitement, you poke holes at his height and speed. And before you retort “but I am excited”, why don’t you show it instead of starting an argument about his height...bobcat99 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 08, 2019 11:37 amWho has been critical?Cataholic wrote: ↑Fri Mar 08, 2019 9:42 amBack to my original post, but he was FIRST TEAM ALL STATE in Football hotbed Florida in that team’s second largest classification! Oh piss off. My entire post talked about how good he is and how stoked I am he's coming here.Cataholic wrote: ↑Fri Mar 08, 2019 12:55 pmMaybe you weren’t critical, but you are negative. I was correcting his height and speed. If I made a post that said Troy Andersen was 6'6 and ran a 4.3, I imagine people would correct that.
I understand this is stupid, and I should have just let it be, but you or anybody saying my post was critical and negative of Martin is flat idiotic. Learn how to read.

And I've previously talked about how good I think Martin is, and how he's a big time recruit for us.

I think 99 is excited that Martin is signed, but I think he’s giving the espn recruiting service too much credit. I’m not sure why 99 is saying he’s “correcting” anything, because Martin is definitely not 5-10. He’s taller than McGhee, who’s 5-11. I’d say Martin is anywhere from 6-0 to 6-1. He’s clearly taller than 5-10.

Well until someone slaps a tape measure next to him it's all conjecture. Not sure why everyone is all over 99 for accepting a height that was submitted. I can tell you one thing about Denarius since I've met him, hes not 5'11, maybe in cleats, I'm 5'10" and he had maybe a half inch on me.

I've been to these events before. They have a t-square and the kids are flat-footed. It's accurate. You can take a picture as evidence over that, but I prefer good measurements.iaafan wrote: ↑Fri Mar 08, 2019 1:41 pmI think 99 is excited that Martin is signed, but I think he’s giving the espn recruiting service too much credit. Fwiw, in that picture McGhee obviously isn't standing up straight. Look at his shoulders.

Perhaps they measured Martin when he was going into his junior year and he’s grown since then. That would be my guess as you can clearly tell he’s taller than McGhee whether he’s standing up straight or not. Martin is not 5-10. No chance.bobcat99 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 08, 2019 1:59 pmI've been to these events before. They have a t-square and the kids are flat-footed. It's accurate. Well if he is only 5'10", I don't want him. I don't care if he is first team all BSC every year. We have standards at MSU and if your great or not those standards must be met!

Re: 2019 MSU Recruiting (34 Signees)
The 99 must mean 99% conjecture on your part. Just recently you make a comment that the new coach is probably coming to MSU because he was so close to Gerald Alexander. Do you know these guys personally??? Or is it just a dumb ass guess?? And maybe if you did a quick google search you might have learned that the new coach played for Choate at UW. He was also a special teams ace and Choate was involved in UWs special teams.
And if you are tired of people jumping your sh1t, maybe you should stick to the facts versus conjecture at the expense of the players, in this instance Jaharie. In my original post, I took what Jaharie posted on his Twitter profile and also his coaches posts. If you are calling Jaharie a liar, maybe we can arrange a meeting so you can confirm his height personally. I bet he would love to meet you.

Wow, Martin is just a beast.
Curious where he will rank upon arrival in the “strongest guy on the team” category...?
Obviously that’s a general statement, lots of ways to measure strength, but he will immediately be right up there with guys like chase benson. Crazy for a true freshman.
