Re: BOOM
There should be a rule that only the head coach can boom. Now I’m confused if this boom is related to an earlier boom.

Re: BOOM
Might be Seer Deines of Connell, WA. He's a 6'3", 260 lb. OL/DL who visited last weekend.
Or its just a double boom and the coaches are out of control with Twitter.

Re: BOOM
If we don't end up getting Williams, Deines would be an excellent consolation prize. I will take a heavyweight champion wrestler on the defensive line any day.Colter_Nuanez wrote:https://twitter.com/SkylineSportsMT/status/956208282636402689VimSince03 wrote:Might be Seer Deines of Connell, WA. This is a nice find by the coaching staff. Like Casey Bauman, Seer comes from a high school that plays in the 1A Class in Washington (the smallest) so their isn't a ton of exposure. Here is his hudl: https://www.hudl.com/profile/8591095/Seer-Deines/videos.

Re: BOOM
I covered high school sports in Washington for two years before moving back to Montana in 2011. I lived in Ellensburg, so I covered a bunch of 2A, 1A and 1B sports. I would compare the 1A level Deines played at high level Class B or standard Class A in Montana. Connell has about 550 students, about the same as Havre or Miles City high school.VimSince03 wrote:If we don't end up getting Williams, Deines would be an excellent consolation prize. Re: BOOM
I drive by Connell on WA-395 a few times a year heading to Missoula. A state prison and a lot of sage brush. Tough town in the middle of nowhere. There are even road signs in the area saying not to pick up hitch hikers.
Seattle to Billings to Missoula to Bozeman to Portland to Billings
What a ride

I was wondering about how it would compare to a Montana school. Thanks Colter.Colter_Nuanez wrote:I covered high school sports in Washington for two years before moving back to Montana in 2011. Re: BOOM
Seer definitely beats up on those smaller lineman he played against. It looked like the other teams had to double team Seer quite a bit just due to his size. However, he is athletic, has great size, strength and talent.

Re: BOOM
So I take it we are thinking he ends up on the defensive side of the ball?VimSince03 wrote:Even dropped back in coverage and snared an interception.AFCAT wrote:Seer definitely beats up on those smaller lineman he played against. Probably. Could be an offensive lineman too. I'm okay with either.RobertCats wrote:So I take it we are thinking he ends up on the defensive side of the ball?VimSince03 wrote:Even dropped back in coverage and snared an interception.AFCAT wrote:Seer definitely beats up on those smaller lineman he played against. If memory serves me well, we had a defensive lineman who made an awesome pic back in about 2012, some guy named Minter.
To be as effective and disruptive as Minter would be a lofty and worthy goal of every Bobcat defensive lineman.
If you're looking for someone with a little authority, I'm your man. I have as little as anyone!
