Look for him to manage the equivalent of a "wildcat" option package that will make opposing defenses spend time preparing for option, plus he'll have packages just like Andersen had packages. If teams don't match up we'll against option, or they don't adequately prepare, Murray will destroy them. As far as the published depth chart goes, I believe there will be zero chance Murray is listed as our #1 QB. Zero.
The way I see it...he will get the chance to focus on what he does best: running.
It's not a stretch to believe we will have the most dangerous wildcat package in the country.
Nor the possibility of having the Biggest and Fastest backfield in the FCS.

Did Jory get his own #boom?

Kind of interesting that Hoy is transfering again.

I wasn't paying attention. Why did the one guy decomit?

Which one? And no Jory did not get his own #boom. Recruits who decommitted likely wanted to keep their options open and not commit during the early signing period. Or they just simply decommitted.

Got an offer closer to home in Sam Houston State. He also seems like a guy who will wait out the process for a potential FBS offer. Always felt like a long shot to me. Good luck to him!

Where did we see he decommit? I saw Zacori Alexander and Aaron Howard in one of Skyline's articles but never heard anything about Williams except for on this board. I am assuming from a good inside source? Not questioning you by any means, I just see Williams still has "MSU Commit" on his twitter page and everything else I see online has him comitted. Wishful thinking I guess.

I don't know if Williams decommitted. His commitment is still pinned to the top of his twitter. https://twitter.com/BigGameJames_92/status/889166070296301569

One of Colter's recent articles stated that he had, and that it was mutual.

With two more QB commits coming in, it sure seems like we have a truck load of options at that position. I would bet dollars to donuts we see a new QB leading the Cats next season. I've said Rovig all along, but I really am not biased one way or the other...I just want Murray on the edge, in a wildcat, as an H back...or anywhere where we can utilise his speed...develop a deadly passing attack, and crush every opponent on the field.

I thought I read somewhere that Choate was doing a 3pm Press Conf on the signings. Does anyone know if I can watch online somewhere?

For all the posters saying Murray won't be our starting QB next year, are you just speculating or has Choate said or even hinted at this? The reason I'm asking is because if he feels like that is the future direction of the program he needs to just make that decision and not even mess around with putting him at QB in the Spring. If he is still officially going to be listed as a QB and it's going to be an open competition in the Spring, then Murray should be going to one of the world class QB development training camps that Dakota, and I think Denarious and perhaps our other QBs went to.

It's all speculation at this point, as far as I know. There's no reason to think any decision like that has been made yet. It's December.

As far as I'm concerned, 2-time Griz slayer Murray is still the #1 QB until someone else proves otherwise. Should be an interesting competition.

Choate will have a press conference at 3 p.m. It's not open to the public. It will not be live streamed. We will have video as soon as possible afterward. I will archive the audio into a podcast ASAP too.

https://twitter.com/MSUBobcatsFB/status/943488884012302336 I see the MSU press release has him listed as an O-lineman.

Montana State Football Adds 16 on December Early Signing Day

Jeff Choate knew that like every college football staff navigating the initial December signing period, Montana State would face some uncertainty. But, he was pleased with the results.

I am surprised to see McElroy listed as a TE. I thought OT. Deep in TE recruits if this is the case.
