MSU Played 3 of the final 8 in FCS playoffs

Post by aucat » Sat Dec 09, 2017 11:06 am

I find it encouraging for our program that MSU played 3 of the 8 final teams in the FCS playoffs,
and we played competitive games against Weber, Kennesaw and SDSU.

It seems that our program is not that far away from being in the playoffs.
The Weber games last night against #1 JMU who now owns a 25 game winning streak, shows that
the Big Sky is a competitive conference nationally.

I also find it amazing how quickly Weber turned their woeful program around. What a job their new coach
has done. And what about Kennesaw? They are only in their 3rd year of playing football. Incredible.

As soon as we find some offensive potency and consistency. We're going to make some noise.

Yep, more consistency throwing the ball, a better pass rush with just 4 dudes, and consistency kicking FGs, and we are a contender.

LOL good point.

Actually if we just did 1 of those things much better, we'd be a playoff team.
All 3, we'd contend for the title.

If we simply played the griz schedule we'd be a playoff team. The way Choate is building this program, when we do get there, we'll be able to compete.
