I continue to say coaches must adapt to the talent they have and not force players into the mold they want. Like the things I am seeing and hearing.

Future looking bright but my question is how long does Choate stay if we win 8+ this year and go deep into FCS playoffs both this year and next?

The best breakdown of MSU football I've ever heard. They went into detail about what I've been saying for the past week or so, which is reassuring among other things. I walked away from Saturday's scrimmage as impressed as I was in 2010 after watching McGhee and Co. in their camp scrimmage.

You might want to wait until the Cats play a game or two before worrying if or when Choate will be taking another head coaching job somewhere.

Finally listened. Good stuff. Thanks Colter and Jay.

I'm concerned about our DB's to say the least. And I don't think Colter went quite as far as I did, but it was nice to see him echo on the importance of Chase Benson like I touched on earlier. We need him to do well.

Sounds like we're going to be really good on offense. Really, really, really good.

Also sounds like our coaching staff is aces. Not just improving from year to year, but from week to week! And we have leaders across the team! Hearing about how a certain former coach rarely ran conditioning, and when they did, the players bitched about it made my heart sink. It also explains a lot of what we saw on the field.

We'll be a good team this year, even if our record doesn't indicate it. In 2-3 years though...we will be a great team. Loved the information guys, you two are great. That's KD again.

Colter, would you say Burgess speed and quickness wise, is similar to a less compact Darren Sproles?

I realize that every little back gets compared to Sproles, but I'm just curious. Maybe even similar to Noel Devine, owner of the best highlight tape of all time?
