Big Sky commissioner Andrea Williams

Post by DaCats21 » Wed Jul 12, 2017 10:34 am

Andrea Williams marked her first-year anniversary as Big Sky Conference commissioner on July 1.

It's been a busy first year for the first-time commissioner, too. She's had to oversee the efforts in welcoming Idaho back in football as well as deal with the negatives of realignment with North Dakota announcing it will leave the conference. There have been some less stressful moments, though, like getting to celebrate the conference's first non-football national championship when Northern Arizona's men's cross country team won the title.

"A new big one for us, and we will have more information on this at the Big Sky Kickoff, is our transition to Pluto TV.

One of the important things for our schools for our feature television contract was to have as much flexibility as we could with the remaining games that weren’t televised. So to be able to partner with ROOT on that and then take our other games to other media partners to ensure we could bring as many games as we possibly could to our Big Sky fans in the region as well as across the country."

Excited to learn more about Big Sky Conf streaming on Pluto TV
