I love the grey, love them. If I were a betting man I would bet those are our military appreciation jerseys like someone said earlier. A lot like the color scheme the NFL does which I think is very sharp!

Doesn't look like anything I wore in the military, but that's okay, I couldn't identify the colors anyway. I do enjoy it when the Cat's have special uniform games, like when they wore the old 1984 uniforms a few years back.

I have to agree with you there Vim. When I first saw them, I liked the gray ones quite a bit more and I still do. I think they're badass!

I guess I am old school, but unless it is designated for something like military day I think a school should stick to its colors. I still laugh at the black and orange Halloween costumes the giz borrowed from ISU one year. Do some sort of Bobcat color camo accents for military day. I will still cheer my ass off for the team but I hate it if they look like they have some sort of prison team jerseys.

I agree with you completely about that. I don't mind wearing special uniforms on occasion, but I hate it when schools stray from their school colors. Our uniforms should be some combinations of blue, gold and white, not black or gray or whatever. It seems odd to me that schools place such a huge emphasis on developing and promoting their "brand', and then they'll send their football team out on the field in uniforms that don't feature any of their school colors.

I've learned a lot on this board over the years. one being, if the opinion here is that the new uni's are "ugly", "lame", "not traditional", "gimmicky", or any other word we can come up with....chances are GREAT that current players and future recruits like them. we're old. we have no clue. times are changing. roll with the punches. have some fun.
