Ted Dawson Retires

Last night was Ted's last broadcast. They aired some nice tributes from Bobcat coaches. Ted was a sports reporter for 54 years!

I wish Ted all the best.

Immensely enjoyed Ted. Especially enjoyed when he discussed a griz story irreverently with a semi chuckle.

Thought he was off base with his support of Ash, but understood.

I always enjoyed him too, the big booming voice that always seemed so positive. He was a good in his chosen field and has a most valuable personal story if you are ever in a situation to hear it. Wish you well Ted and will miss you.

Thanks Ted for not being afraid to utter the word "Bobcats" like some other announcers in the area.

And thanks for supporting the many high schools in the area at all levels. I saw you on the sidelines at Class C, B, A, AA games for both boys and girls in many different sport venues. You weren't just sitting behind your desk being a mouthpiece, you got out to put a face in the community. I appreciated that.
