Fact. I was told the situation by a "non-MSU grad" who has been closely affiliated with a team's sports department. Fact.
Fact. He could still be playing at MSU next year. Fact.
Fact. He was a big Griz fan growing up. Fact.
Fact. When I read between the lines he is now considering bagging football. Fact.
Fact. When I read between the lines between the lines he doesn't like MSU. Fact

And he's listed as a freshman again, so we got him for four more years.

it's a fact that you did read between the lines. But what you read between the lines may not be fact.TomCat88 wrote:Fact. I was told the situation by a "non-MSU grad" who has been closely affiliated with a team's sports department. Fact.

Is it just me, or does it seems like a lot of kids are leaving this program? I know it is normal to have kids leave or not make grades, but it seems like we have lost a lot of talented kids that would have seen a lot of playing time. I am starting to think this was a bad year to have the strength of schedule we do. Hope we can keep searching and find a few more bodies come August.

In Dalton's case, hard to control injuries. In the Class of 2015's case, maybe it was just time to move on. They were Ash's last class and many of them have not fit in with Choate's program.GoCats18 wrote:Is it just me, or does it seems like a lot of kids are leaving this program? I see in uncle Ted's report that he would be welcomed back with open arms if he chose to once healthy.

The proof will be in a couple years when we how many of Choate's recruits stay or leave. I think its up for debate about the quality of Ash recruits versus Choate recruits, but lets see how many of Choate's own guys stick and how many leaves. That's probably a better indicator of why kids are leaving.VimSince03 wrote:In Dalton's case, hard to control injuries. In the Class of 2015's case, maybe it was just time to move on. To me it seems that ash felt greater and greater pressure to win, and I think compromised on academic and character issues over his last 2 or so years.
It's okay to take a chance on a guy here and there, but by the end ash and staff were taking too many chances.
