Wash State game
When will MSU section tickets go on sale for the Washington State game? I believe I saw on here or elsewhere that tickets would be available through the Bobcat Ticket office.

Lol... Bill Gates told me he still makes phone calls. So yeah. But I would think the ticket office would have the 411 on WSU tickets.

Tickets to the Wazzu game (from the official MSU allotment) will be on sale in August; first to season-ticket holders and Bobcat Club members, then to the general public. If you're interested in a tailgating spot, those have to be purchased directly though WSU's ticket office and go on sale July 31. I was told that tailgating spots go fast, so mark that date if you want one. Their general parking lot allows tailgating, too, if you don't get an official 'tailgating' spot.

Hotel rooms are hard to come by on game weekends in Pullman, too. I'd suggest reserving your room asap.

Re: Wash State game
The general parking lot tailgating must be a new thing. When we went to the MSU vs. WSU game in 2010 they actually made us dump out our beer, put out our cigars, and hand them the case of beer right there in the parking lot, absolutely a true story. Then we tried to get into the MSU alumni tailgate and it was already full and WSU campus patrol wouldn't let anymore fans into the tailgate so we had to go to the bar above the stadium to get our tailgate on, which was fine because there were a lot of bobcat people in there. Overall I was underwhelmed with the tailgating at WSU especially for a Pac 12 team, makes me even more thankful for the set up we all have in Bozeman.BethanyCordell wrote:Tickets to the Wazzu game (from the official MSU allotment) will be on sale in August; first to season-ticket holders and Bobcat Club members, then to the general public. Moscow, Lewiston/Clarkston, Circling Raven Resort aka Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort are all good alternatives for places to stay. All are close and if it were me I would stay in Lewiston/Clarkston or the Circling Raven over Pullman anyway.Catfanatic84 wrote:Hotel rooms are hard to come by on game weekends in Pullman, too. I just booked a room at the Montvale in Downtown Spokane for the game weekend ($89/night on hotwire). See you there.

For a Pac-12 team, Washington State's atmosphere is by far the worse. Even their stadium is more Big Sky than Pac-12.Hi-Line Bobcat wrote:The general parking lot tailgating must be a new thing. Most of this was compliments of the revenue from the then newly created PAC 12 Network.

Have you been in the Montvale? There is only on street parking, and it is like an old west walkup hotel. I mistakenly booked a room there during the hoopfest through priceline because it was cheaper than the rest and later found out why!

I attended the last Cat Cougar game and had a wonderful experience at the MSU Alumni tailgate. Certainly no complaints here.

We stayed and played at Circling Raven last year before the Idaho Game. One on my favorite courses in the Northwest!!Hi-Line Bobcat wrote:Moscow, Lewiston/Clarkston, Circling Raven Resort aka Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort are all good alternatives for places to stay. Yes, great course and pretty reasonably priced when I went there a couple years ago.WalkOn79 wrote:We stayed and played at Circling Raven last year before the Idaho Game. Re: Wash State game
Just checked the WSU site and looked at the seating. Does anyone have any idea which section or should I call BOBCATS tickets tomorrow?
Thanks...

Re: Wash State game
I married a Coug (haha). Joke aside, I've come to love the cougs like I love the Cats. Ok, maybe not that much. But I root and follow them the same. We are taking our fist son to this game (fortunately he has more Cat gear than Coug gear). My wife and I were there the last time. Can't wait!
