Morgan just went 165-7 yesterday in Butte, which would put him in 5th.

Both Morgan and Wessel fouled 170+ throws yesterday. Morgan sectored and Wessel with a foot foul.

This is McCutcheon's first year sprinting, and that was his first 200 yesterday. He is working hard for the track team. He is full of good character.

If it's true that Cam Roberson from Bakersfield is going to sign, he's ran a 10.80 electronic timed 100M, and two 22.19 200M so far this track season.

Morgan won the shot (52-9) and discus (166-7) at the Top Ten meet in Missoula yesterday. Gilman sixth in shot at 46-7. Troy Anderson won the 100 in 10.93, took second in 200 in 22.41 (.05 out of first to Drew Turner of Glacier, who took second in 100 in 11.06). I think Turner is #3 on Vim's list of 2018 recruits.

Non-football: Trey Tintinger, the freshman from Helena High, won the high jump at 6-9. Second time he's gone 6-9 this year.

Turner is fast and the best RB prospect in Montana this fall.

My math comprehension is terrible but wouldn't the 10.88 100 meters come out to about a 10.0 100 yards?

Yes and no.

Things like acceleration, time to get to top speed would make a difference.

Thanks.
I never worried about acceleration as I ran only the 440, 660, 880, 1320, 1 mile and up... This shows the era that I grew up. But thought it was close.

I made a mistake in an earlier post about the Top Ten meet in Missoula. It was Ethan Larson in second in the 100, not Drew Turner. What I really missed was the fact that Mark Estes is not only back from his ACL injury, but he's doing quite well. Check out who took third (and beat Turner) in the 100. It will interesting to follow his times the rest of the season. His 11.23 in Missoula was a season best for him and only .02 off his personal best. He was struggling early in the season, so I bet this time made him very happy.

100 – 1, Troy Andersen, Dil, 10.93; 2, Ethan Larson, Gla, 11.06; 3, Mark Estes, Dru, 11.23; 4, Drew Turner, Gla, 11.25;
