In accordance with Board of Regents Policy 1003.7, Montana State University seeks authorization by the
Board of Regents of the Montana University System to replace the field turf and surrounding warning
track at Bobcat Stadium at a cost of up to $625,000, and to finance the costs over a period of three years.

FieldTurf agrees to install the asset over a 5 week period in April and May 2017 and invoice Bobcat
Intercollegiate Athletics.

Cool! How long have we had the current field turf? I seem to recall at the time they said the life expectancy was 10 years. It will be nice to not have the mismatch in color around the Cat logo!

The turf was originally installed in 2008, so it's been in use for nine years.

I think it would be cool to have a Montana outline around the bobcat in the middle of the field. Coaches really stress the 406 idea - would like that to be somewhere as well

That's awesome! I thought parts of the turf were looking pretty worn out. The price seems reasonable too. I hope they stay with a classic look.

nice! It has always drove me nuts how the outside rim is a random shade of blue, doesn't match up.... looks weird imo.

I also like this idea. I would like to have Montana at the center of the basketball court as well. Maybe just use a little darker or lighter shade of wood.

Naw. We'll just have coach o go over from his office in admissions for updates a few times a day like we did when the new end zone was built.

There's a way to make some money. Auction off the old logo, field numbers, etc. Maybe, someone would like to have the old field turf logo for their back yard or tail gate spot.

On a serious note..the selling of the old turf is a good idea. The Portland airport sold pieces of their old carpet and made a killing.
