Both very good players but I don't think top 5. Connor didn't even play half the season with an injury so I don't know how he beats out some of the other kids in the top 10 this year.
But just my opinion, everybody's got one.
Yeah Conor caught the injury bug this year. I know Vim and I both have him lower on our Final Top 50 which will be posted very soon. As for Schneider, I am a fan of him and see him as a top 10 football player, which is also reflected in my Final Top 50.

I really don't have an opinion cause I'm not there, but I appreciate Howard and Vim putting in all the work and sharing their educated opinions on these kids. You guys deserve a radio show or something.

I'll second that! Maybe you guys should put together a monthly podcast!

The Top 50 finals are posted. I'll also post a Top 10 per position tomorrow to give some more kids the spotlight as there are A LOT of good football players who didn't make the Top 50.

Not sure how many years you guys have been providing this list but it would be interesting to see how these players turn out in college. Re-rank them after their college careers.

First one I ranked was 2015. The one with Jesse Sims, Dalton Daum, Holden Ryan, Colin Bingham, Josh Sandry, Brayden Konkol, Mitch Brott, and Logan Jones among others. Daum retired from football. Ryan is in injury limbo and may not be a Griz next year. The rest will all be juniors this next fall other than Logan Jones. So that will probably be my first one. I could go back and re-rank Tucker Schye and Mac Bignell's recruiting class as all of those players have finished their careers.

Updated the front page with both Top 50's and my personal Top 10's for each position. I will add analysis to each one as I continue to update them.

So Estes has shrunk by 3 inches in height since early signing day?

I’ve broken players into three groups. 1. Locks; 2. Solids; 3. A chances. Here’s the locks, I’ll have the rest of them out in the next few days.

Locks - Sulser, Askelson and Turner.

MSU - 15 team National Champions (most recent 2021); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Lock = this guy can beat up your Dad.
Solid = this guy can beat up your mom
Chance = This guy can tie his own shoelaces.

Might want to fix Blake Allred as well. 5'11" is a foot shorter than 6'. Looking at his film he not more than 1" shorter than Askelson.

I based that off the shrine game roster. I will change it back to 6'0".

They think “locks” are guys that will start or get significant playing time in their frosh/sophomore seasons.
“Solids” are players that probably need more development, but should see the field.
“A chances” are players that are tweeners. I guess I could just call them tweeners. A few will probably be players, but most will fade.

My picks for the 2018 Badlands Bowl roster: viewtopic.php?p=620364#p620364.

The actual roster won't be released until March.
