Agree, even going into next year. Until we see who the um QB is, and whether their defense gets any better, I'm thinking that's a W.

Thankfully there are no D-2 games, which makes the playoffs at least a possibility no matter the start.

I'll be optimistic and pencil in a win against SDSU and hope the trip to Grand Forks is a toss-up.

If I was actually playing that may mean something. I'm just commenting on how it's a tough first three games. I'm sure the players think they will win all three, and good for them.

I agree with you on the UND game. I feel like with the way they play, and the way it appears we're now set up to play, that we'll be in that game in the 4th quarter with a chance to win (with the caveat that it's 8 months away and nothing's certain, of course). I'd expect it to be similar to our game with them here this year, which was the game I feel really set us on the path of our losing streak. We find a way to win that homecoming game, I'd venture that we are more confident on the road at Sac and close them out, and who knows then back home at 2-0 against NAU. Anyway, that's neither here nor there, except to say that again next season, I think the UND game, at first glance, has a chance to be a tone-setter for the rest of the schedule.

Kennesaw State: I always like to check out our OOC fan forums, especially the FCS teams. I love these matchups. Maybe Charleston Southern would be a better matchup if we're going to the Big South, but I think the Owls will be a very good team. They ought to have several wins under their belt by the time they come to Bozeman and they should be thinking a win over the Bobcats puts them in the playoffs.
