As for transferring. Remember he's played 2 years. If he goes down he plays now. If he stays at this level he only plays 1 year in 2 years.

He has a redshirt year available. 3 years to play 2.
Ah yes. I forgot that.

Good luck to the kid. That's a good program, hope he does well there.

Strange how he couldn't play here, but is gonna go there. Either attitude or GA was just wrong.

Good for him! I'm all for second chances.

Wonder if he got a walk on invite, or a scholarship at Utah?? If the latter, there's a serious discrepancy in the evaluation of his talent level.

I don't think it has anything to do with talent.

I thought he was leaving because of his lack of playing time this season, from other players passing him on the depth chart. Was that not the problem?

I'd guess that was part of it. Hard to get 100% out of someone who doesn't want to be where he is at. It's also hard to give 100% if you want to be somewhere else.

I assume he's paying his own way because he's not a P5 scholarship player by any stretch at this point.

Best of luck to him though.

Keep working hard and you'll do well. Utah is a fine school and a good choice for you. You'll fit in nicely with the Utah defense.

+1. I wish him the greatest of success. Not every school or program is right for every kid. Doesn't mean anyone has to think any less of the young man. Do Billings, and Montana, proud. I'll be rooting for him.
