I hope Rovig . . .

Post by Bozcat003 » Sat Nov 05, 2016 2:34 pm

Is ready to start next season. Bruggman is insanely terrible and Messingham has no clue what he is doing with Murray. I still believe Murray can be special and am disappointed we pulled him out, but as many have mentioned Rovig is the QB that Choate wants and I hope he can come in ready to compete in August. . . Wouldn't mind another play-caller on offense either. Messingham is WAYYY out of his league here.

Murray can and will be special as a WR at the FCS level. He's never going to be an elite FCS QB.

Seattle to Billings to Missoula to Bozeman to Portland to Billings

What a ride

Agree with you. Murray will be a great Bobcat, but I just don't see it at QB.

The last part is crucial.

+1

It's too bad to cause honestly overall our defense has played well this season. A good offense and we could be half decent. Off-season can't come soon enough.

If you want to be a respectable wide receiver in D1 college football you need to fight for every ball that is thrown your way, especially the bad throws!

We have another QB on the team right now but evidentially he is irreplaceable at his current position of signaling in the plays from the sideline.

Rovig's highlights from last night playoff game . . .

Throws at 45 seconds/54 seconds are very promising

If he doesn't decide to go somewhere else first. We better hope and pray that non of our verbals change their minds. I also hope the outcome of this season won't effect possible future recruits. I also wonder is some players will be told not to come back. Seems like we could cut some people and open up room for new kids.

That is my biggest worry. Until the fax machines are humming, we can't bank on it.

New recruits want to be part of the solution. Also, don't be surprised if a few guys who have started this year, not be on the team next year. Rovig had been one of our best recruiters from what I have heard.

If we have a QB for nxt year . I think a year in the weight room and Chris could make
a great tail back - reminds me a little of Tony Dorsette in his running style . Either way
a year in the weight room would improve arm strength and his passing would be stronger
and crisper - good athlete w/ 3 more years

We are so stacked at QB that we moved one of our extra QBs to Safety.

Marked. Zero evidence that he won't be.
