I like the new thing they're doing with the recruits and their pics. While I think the current people doing this are doing a great job, It does make me miss Conner and his genius with these things. I can't even image what they'd look like if he was still around.

I wonder if it part of an agreement with Rise that they are the ones that distribute those things and not the player directly so he had to take it down. Marketing for Rise to future 'clients'.

I'm going to file this as one of those "we will know when we know" situations. Hopefully will see him on a visit next week or the two weeks after.

Speaking of visits, kind of a different recruiting year so far. I mean we have 20 verbals and we have been in "lets hold on to them" mode for a few months now. Different than the past few years where we have had 3-10 verbals at most around this time. I like that we have a ton of "already committed" verbals coming on visits to help sell the kids that we are still looking at. Should be a fun next three weeks!

Just curious; Did we lose a commit from the first page? There are 20 commits listed but Choate said today in his news conference that they had 19 commits.

At least two commits have already signed, so there are only 18 now at most. Must be another one or two that slipped by.

I don't think Edward Vander has been made official yet by the school or they haven't released anything yet. Probably due to paperwork (my guess). Did a quick look at every recruit and everyone looks very committed. However, this is the time of the season where things get a little nuts so buckle in.

I could have swore I saw a picture of Vander signing his paperwork back in December but it's not on his twitter page anymore.

Zero coaches follow Jace on twitter. I would assume he does not hold an offer from us anymore.

Maybe they quit following because they want him to be a Signing Day Surprise?
