I'm not even close to willing to do this, but what I care more about is seeing these lists at the end of their senior years. When that's the case I guarantee there are guys from Montana on it.

Well I could go back to like the 2013 classes for all these teams and re-rank who are the current best players are from those signing day classes.

Honestly I'm really interested.
However I was also being sarcastic. I appreciate the hell out of the work you do on all the recruiting. It has made bn an even better place.
Thanks for all the info you put out.

Found the list:
http://www.bigskyconf.com/documents/201 ... cruits.pdf. These kids will either be juniors or seniors. I won't rank transfers. Walk-ons will get added as I go through rosters and depth charts (like Mac Bignell who was part of this class when he walked on in the fall). I will totally do this and put it out someday.

wow, that was an interesting class.... talk about a class full of "what if's"... A lot of solid players that are still contributing, but definitely a few busts and BIG TIME recruits that did not pan out.... Eric Prevost, Marino, some transfers....

The next year was even worse for out-of-state recruits. Hoy, Robinson, Ojo, Holmes, and Plucker were all full-ride kids who are not with the team anymore.

Patterson is the slot guy I've always wanted. Rich mans version of Griebel.
Doesn't have great top end speed, but he gets there immediately.

Rich man's version. That's good stuff. We usually get the poor man's version. Griebel was the poor man's version of Wes Welker as I recall. So transitive properties makes Patterson the next Welker.

What do you think -- RB, Slot / IR, WR, QB ?? Grebiel looks like a good comparison.
There's something about his film that brought Danny Woodhead to mind.

Tailback. Let him run and pass once every once in a while. Put 3 on the field that are serious passing threats and run it outside. Drive defenses crazy and tired. Oh and keep EWu from getting another QB.

Another comparison of Montana kids is to just use the all conference winners at the end of the year. Natives from the state of Montana had 4 on the 2015 team and 4 on the 2016. Pretty easy to assume that one or two Montana kids should be on the top 55 recruit list.

I can only assume the recruits were at the Bball game today..... which can't hurt our chances of getting them. What a huge win, and what looked like a great crowd/atmosphere.
