I'd way rather have a healthy Bleskin, than a semi-injured Prukop. . . Give Prukop time to make a full recovery. . . Bleskin's got this

Exactly, let them start a crippled qb. I'm anxious to see singleton and coe run him down.

Gotta admire JJ, the kid is a gamer and pretty tough! Just his will alone will keep the griz in this game for a while.

Or destroy their gameplan when he leaves in the first quarter after a Singleton sack-lunch!

I have a feeling we will be blitzing a lot this game. . . we have had pretty good success with it lately.

This isn't a surprise. Starting a hobbled QB last year didn't help us. Lets hope it has a similar effect on them.

Just watch the first quarter of last week's game, he will not last long. He will try his heart out, but his mobility and not having a strong base to pass from will rear its ugly head.

He's been nursing that high ankle sprain for a few weeks now. I think he's tweaked it a couple times.

Believe me, a less than 100% JJ is better than a 100% SSH.

He threw a pretty good long ball to set up the winning filed goal against NoDak, but Jones was wide open in space.

He didn't attempt a single pass against SUU.

I agree. I honestly don't believe we lose that much with Bleskin. Obviously we'll miss Prukop's running ability, but last week was the best our passing game has looked in the past month...minus the two RZ picks of course. And JB ran for 56 yards on just 5 carries...11.2 yards per carry ain't exactly chopped liver. He's no Prukop, but it's not like he's completely unathletic...he's definitely more athletic than Hyphen. He had 357 total yards, which compares quite favorably with most of Prukop's games this season, except for a couple when he just went wild. He's just got to be a bit more careful with the ball though. We probably won't be able to overcome two RZ picks against UM on Saturday.

Edit: I just looked it up, and Prukop has averaged 321 total yards per game this season, so Bleskin actually slightly exceeded that. Again, I fully realize that Prukop's running ability adds an extra dimension to the offense, but overall, I don't think JB is a big dropoff.

Wow...I'd sort of forgotten about Leftwich. Is he still in the NFL?

He won't be playing after Singleton pancakes him and his offensive line has to scrape him off the turf.
