Sounds like a beast. Hopefully this young group of LBs can stay healthy.
Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Depends. Lots of recruits send out film to teams. Some coaches in the region may hear of him and star scouting, or simply be in that state to begin with. They might be looking at all the top teams or players from a particular state. There are also coaching connections everywhere.allcat wrote:How do the Bobcats even hear about a kid from Wisconsin?

Montana State's Jason McEndoo always does at least one and sometimes a couple "midwestern" swings in which he drives through Eastern Montana, across North Dakota, into Minnesota and Wisconsin, then down to Iowa before coming home. In recent years, the Bobcats have signed three players from Iowa — JP Flynn, Wade Webster, Kellen Kollmorgen — along with a Twin Cities product (Joey Marinello).
If you are a subscriber to Bobcat Beat — and you should be (shameless plug) — you'll notice it seems MSU has begun recruiting Utah as well. The Cats have several offers out there to Beehive State prospects.

It also probably doesn't hurt any, that Ash has longstanding ties to the midwest...Iowa borders Wisconsin after all.CatBlitz wrote:Depends. Lots of recruits send out film to teams. Truth. The Bettendorf (Flynn, Webster) pipeline began because JP Flynn's older brother, Stephen, played for Ash at Drake and was a grad assistant at MSU when Flynn first committed.John K wrote:It also probably doesn't hurt any, that Ash has longstanding ties to the midwest...Iowa borders Wisconsin after all.CatBlitz wrote:Depends. Colter, I have been trying to find this and i'm coming up empty. We have heard a lot about the Oregon area for recruiting and I think someone said that is now Kempts focus. And Mac does the mid west. Beck does TX I believe.Colter_Nuanez wrote:Truth. Is there a list of which coach goes where for recruiting?
