That is a bummer. Lately, it seems our transfers get hurt almost immediately. The injury bug strikes again. And again. And again ...

WTF

why are the cats so unlucky with injuries... it is crazy.... ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Didn't the other DE Jeffries severely sprain his ankle during warm ups on the first day or something?

It is looking more and more like it will be the Marino show this fall, whether he is ready for it or not!

Bummer, but keep in mind... IT HAPPENS! This is the first major injure suffered during Spring drills that I've heard of... so probably we're right about on track, or maybe even doing a little better than the average D1 football camp. I know we held some guys out prior to Spring drills, but have we had other major injuries that I haven't heard about? I'm just trying to keep things in perspective.

Better to have it happen now instead of the week before the season starts.

So does anyone have a guess as to how long he is out? Any chance he will be able to contribute this fall? Or is he pretty much done until 2015... major bummer, I was excited to see this guy play.

I'd love it if that were the case, but even if he was back he would probably be a shell of himself. It seems a player can play the year after, but it is generally seems to be two years until they are back to form.

Dude on my plane is wearin a Montana Grizzlie shirt. I'm pretty sure he's the reason our whole plane smells like B.O.

Kurt Davis-MSU Receiver
I needed a change for one, but for two, I HAD to go to Coach Haucks rival school.

Used it last year as his transfer year.

That really seems to be true that it takes a year to get back on the field and another to get back to form, if they are one of the lucky ones that even make it back to form.
