I decided to start a new thread strictly for still shots from the stadium webcam for the benefit of those who can't access it. First one:

Looks like they are pouring some serious mud today in a snow storm. Nothing will stop them, not even the weather.

Retiring my moniker. It's time to ride off into the sunset. It's been a fun ride. Go Cats.

Thanks NaC. :D I seem to be firewalled out of seeing anything, so these are helpful. Once a week seems like a good pace.

A friend of mine told me that right now all the extra dirt from the initial excavation is now piled up on the student side tailgate area. Is there any timetable as to when it will be cleared out? It seems to me that may make that tailgate area more of a mess when it gets removed. Is there any plan to remedy or reclaim the area when the dirt is removed? I would hope that it may provide an opportunuty to improve the entire lot, which would be awesome.

The State of Montana is Bobcat country.

I thought the plan was to turn the east side tailgate area into parking, and move the student tailgate area South of the booster tailgates so that it is right by the new student section in the endzone. I may be wrong but I thought thats what I saw in a drawing

Moving the tailgate area would be a bad idea. The student side did not just have students that tailgated. I have a tailgate spot next the fence on that side. Did you hear where they plan to move all of the none student tailgaters on that side? There are probably around 75 to 100 non student tailgaters on that side of the stadium that had spots on the outside edge.

You can't make an omlette without breaking some eggs...(I just thought this was an appropriate quote at this time).

I meant all tailgates from that section, I was just refering to it as the student tailgates. BUT (and most importantly), don't quote me on this. Just what I think I recall seeing. Could be wrong tho I can't find the diagram anywhere so might just be my imagination

Is there an "official statement/response" from the MSU Sports Info people that peruse these pages regarding the wicked rumor of moving the "student side" (although, most of the tailgate spots on that side are nor students) tailgating?

I don't see any room between the new endzone and the track for tailgating. So, where are they rumored to moving ?

I don't think they are moving.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

I thought there was a new entrance put on that end for the student tailgates.

They are putting in a gate but not a parking lot. They are just adding a gate that is close to the students section so they don't have to enter at mid field and walk around the concourse. If they didn't add a new gate there the concourse under the old student section would be really tight with an 5,000 extra fans filtering through there.
