Since Ndsu went FCS (around 2008), they've lost exactly ONE playoff game in Fargo... and they've had at least 20 playoff games in Fargo. SO they are around 20-1 at home in December. They just do not lose at home this time of year.

However - I do think it would be good for the Cats to win at home this weekend, and goto Fargo and play those guys. Even if we got thumped, the team would be better prepared for a deeper run next year if they've seen and experienced a road game at Fargo.

People are certainly going to scoff at your prediction. But lets not forget, the 1984 bobcats were ranked dead last in the BSC. Dave Arnold was no super clever coach. It was the players that put out a superhuman effort, put the season on their backs and won the whole damn thing. I am convinced that they would have given BYU the FBS winner that year all they could handle. College football is highly emotional, don't underestimate the will of the players.

They actually went division 1 FCS in 2004 and didn't win any playoff games from 2004 to 2008

I think that if the team thinks they are going to lose, they might as well not even go - they've lost already. As a fan, I will always think my team has at least a chance to win. Thought so last weekend even when down 22-0. I will admit that sometimes it will be unlikely, but there's always got to be a chance. After all, if stitt can beat ndsu, it can be done!!!!

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14, but 34-11 will do.

I am looking forward to tomorrows game vs. UIW, we need to show and prove our playoff ticket was deserved. That being said I have 4 tickets for the NDSU game next Saturday. I feel confident that I will be watching the Cats. We have good friends in Fargo who are still calling us cowards for buying our way out of our contract so they are really hoping the Cats win and come to town for an education. My wife got her undergrad at NDSU, Masters at MSU and Doctorate at UM so she has some split allegiance. I usually make a NDSU home game every other year and the one thing that has impressed me going back to the beginning of their run is how if a team plays them close in the first half they come out and physically dominate teams the second half. Their conditioning/weight staff is very good, it gives them an edge most games. Bottom line win at home live to play another week, one at a time.

Their conditioning got us in 2010. We were ahead 17-14 into the 4th quarter before the wheels fell off.

If the Cats lose tomorrow, I’m blaming you.

My head is saying that our chances are minimal but my heart keeps reminding me off all the games the last two seasons against top 10 teams that we were very competitive in.

We also lost to SDSU, EWU, and WSU by two scores each game this year. HOWEVER, that was before Matt Miller kicked the door down. In the words of Lee Corso, "NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND!"

Why not go into Fargo and make history!

Four scores, three scores, and two scores. It’ll be interesting to see what MM brings to Fargo!

Meant to say more than two scores.

As one might expect, we're not getting much respect on bisonville.com. About every other post having to do with MSU references the buyout. Hopefully this game will at least sooth their extreme butthurt over that deal.

I checked it out earlier and saw the same thing. I wanted to respond "Didn't you get paid to not play a game?"

The way the D played today, I would bet the Bison would love to buyout this game! 😉

Honestly, what a bunch of morons. I hope the 2012 Buyout bothers them for decades to come and their butt hurt never ever heals. F the bisons.

I could give two s***s what they think about a buy out years ago. If it wasn’t in the contract, it wouldn’t have happened. Get ready to get hit in the mouth ndsu.

Actually can't believe we haven't been inundated with bizons yet. I actually just logged in to see the damage Lakes and crew have already done by now.

Right? Who could possibly still be convinced to care? Their team never loses a damn game, so I guess you gotta be mad about something. Tall test coming for our team, but we should enjoy this week. There's no expectations, for once, pressure all on them, so who knows what can happen in 1 game.
