And let's remember how long it took Ochs to get to this point. Lex will be the focal point of the Griz offense next year because the new QB will undoubtedly take his lumps while learning the system & adjusting to being their starter.

Without even knowing WHO their QB will be, if I'm a Big Sky D-coordinator next year, BOTH of my safeties are in the box, stuffing the run, and daring them to throw. Which reminds me, exactly WHO will that QB be throwing to?

Let me put it this way: when is the last time the Griz had a QB you thought was awful? The Griz get good talent, year after year, and you know that. They will fill the holes, it might be a hard year for them next year with so many new players, but the Griz will suffice, as always.

Lex is very good, no doubt, but if teams weren't afraid of Ochs, they could load the box and stuff the run. Ochs is a tremendous field general, makes the right decision 98% of the time, and calls great audibles to correct the mistakes from his coaching staff. The griz will miss Craig more than anyone realizes.
Interesting perspective. It's sad the whole GRIZ coaching staff is made up of a bunch of idiots. We are so lucky, that Craig can compensate for this group.
