Giants probably have the nicest ballpark I've ever visited. Great place to watch a game.TIrwin24 wrote:Whoa, Whoa, Whoa!!! Man, my Pirates are really good this year. They've got more RBI, BB and HR than Miguel Cabrera. But don't worry, they've played one more game. Cabrera can still catch up.

Hey don't look now, but the Cubs have won two in a row!
As my grandfather would say, they could still be 157-5...

I think the organization is going in the right direction ( ), but it's sure going to be painful this year.

I saw a funny picture on Facebook the other day.
Said "Wanna go see a 3 1/2 hour disaster in HD? No we aren't going to see Titanic...We are going to a Cubs game."
So true.

My Braves have gone 11-3 after an 0-4 start. It would be nice to send Chipper out with a ring.CapitalCityCat wrote:TIrwin24 wrote:Mariners: 3-1

Hey, the Cubs aren't mathematically eliminated yet, and with another wildcard this... Yeah. I got nothing.TIrwin24 wrote:Seattle can't figure out if they want to win or lose and both San Diego and the Cubbies are bringing up the rear... Poor Cubs

I'm making my yearly trek to Wrigley Field next week, and I'm hoping that it'll be a close game. I am still optimistic for the future, and for now trust that Ricketts, Epstein, Hoyer, and company are making strides towards a significantly contending team fairly soon, as much as this season hurts.
