Re: Bowl game tv ratings
I actually think that it was the most watched FCS championship ever, at least I thought I read that somewhere... Which is super surprising given it was on a 9am PST.The Butcher wrote:I am a little surprised that the FCS championship was so low.

And considering that ESPN doesn't promote it at all, I don't think the ratings were too bad really.luckyirishguy25 wrote:I actually think that it was the most watched FCS championship ever, at least I thought I read that somewhere... Re: Bowl game tv ratings
Yep. Zero effort from ESPN. I wonder what the numbers would be if they had all or most of the playoff games on ESPN or ESPN2 and had the championship game on Friday night or Sat. evening.John K wrote:And considering that ESPN doesn't promote it at all, I don't think the ratings were too bad really.luckyirishguy25 wrote:I actually think that it was the most watched FCS championship ever, at least I thought I read that somewhere... Re: Bowl game tv ratings
All of the bowl games, along with the FCS playoff and championship games, were merely opportunities for ESPN to pimp the BCS championship series.Hawks86 wrote:Yep. Zero effort from ESPN.
