Dawgs vs. Tide

Post by BelgradeBobcat » Mon Jan 08, 2018 8:57 pm

Georgia is really, really good. Up 13-0 at the half. I can't believe their quarterback is a true freshman. Somebody should check his birth certificate
I don't think this one is over. Alabama will get a pick 6 or a punt return or something and be right back in it.

Yes, they are really kicking some Tide butt.
But what the neck is that train wreck called halftime???

Jalen Hurts missed a WIDE open TD in the first half. You can't do that.

Fromm is really impressive. Crazy to think he was in high school 7 months ago!

I don't think that thirteen points wins this game but I'm very happy that Georgia is closer than Alabama to the number of points needed to win the game.

Wow QB change to start second half for Bama. This is either a genius move by Sabin or the act of a crazed fool.

Refs helping out Alabama now... They took away a blocked punt on a phantom offside call, HUGE play, then failed to call a face mask that would've gotten Georgia out of a 3rd and long.
Not cool.

I'm thinking the former right now.

He did look good on that drive. True freshman who hasn't taken a meaningful snap all year.
Hope that Georgia can answer here.

Back to back interceptions. That is simply crazy.

48 for bama has totally lost his head. First he throws a punch on the field and then throws some at his teammate and assistant coach on the side line.

He should've been sent to the showers. Can't believe he went after that assistant coach!

Incredible game. Great comeback and that Freshman came through.
Came SO close to turning it off at halftime.

Does Alabama/Hurts remind you of another team and it's QB, i.e. a great athlete, but a guy who just doesn't throw the ball very well? The difference in Bama's offense was like night and day once they put in a QB who can actually throw the ball.

It was a great game, I just don't think Alabama should have even been there. It is not truly a playoff, it is a made for tv event.
