Yep. Weber's offense started moving the ball well last time, let's see if they can keep it up.catscat wrote:Weber toughened up at the end and held JMU to a FG. 21-20 Weber. They need at least enough offense to take a bunch of time off the clock.

Excellent observation.Cataholic wrote:I thought Weber got screwed on this. They were called for a block in the back on the return, but they did not yet have possession of the fumble. How does defense get called for a block in the back when they don’t have the ball? We we could be up by 11 right now.catscat wrote:Weber blocks FG attempt with :07 left. Runs it back for TD but called back for block in back. Gets one untimed down. Half time score is 10 - 7 JMU. Weber to receive 2nd half kickoff.

Weber dodges a bullet on that fumble.
Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14.

I’d like to see it - we need to compete with those teams before we can beat em - we’re close - and I91catAlum wrote:So here's a question. How will you feel if Weber, Kennesaw, and sdsu all end up in the semi's?
I'd be a little pissed about our frickin 2017 schedule, but also very excited about how close the Cats are to these teams.
Don’t believe it was a fluke .

They should’ve went for two.

Weber faked the QB draw and then backed up and threw. MSU could use that play as much as we have Murray run the draw. He just needs to be able to throw the pass and have a receiver that can go up and take it away from 2 defenders.

Well that makes it exciting! TD JMU. Weber needs to stop the try for 2!

Should be 35 - 28 with the blocked FG called back

Guess now we see what kind of 2 minute offense Weber has. Tied at 28 - with 2 minutes left.

Good game by Weber. Don't know how some people can say the BSC is weak when it takes an unbeaten #1 all season, #1 seed a last second (literally) FG to beat Weber.

Weber lost the game when Jay Hill didn't have the guts to go for two when they scored their last TD. I mean, it's simple math, is it not?
Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.
