Re: WSU at JMU
Weber should have decent field position after JMU has 4 penalties on KO return and after. Punted from the 2 or so.
Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14.

Then Weber returns the favor with a hold on the return.catscat wrote:Weber should have decent field position after JMU has 4 penalties on KO return and after. Punted from the 2 or so.

Went to the long pass well once too often. JMU picks off another long pass. Oh well, Weber's D is what has them in the game.

Weber got the shaft on that fair catch call. Refs usually don't give you the fair catch unless you're very obvious about it.

End of 3rd. Weber leads 14-10. They have the ball. Hope they can hold on. Would be good if they can get at least one more TD as it's possible their defense may tire a bit, although they been doin' good so far.

JMU does not look any better than any Big Sky team. Weber’s offense looks horrible and they are winning at the beginning of the fourth.

If Weber wins this, I may break out something stronger than either one!!91catAlum wrote:Haha I'm not a fan of IPAs either, Tom.TomCat88 wrote:Bud > IPA.91catAlum wrote:Hey bro, was out buying a Christmas tree with the wife and setting it up. Re: WSU at JMU
I thought Weber got screwed on this. They were called for a block in the back on the return, but they did not yet have possession of the fumble. How does defense get called for a block in the back when they don’t have the ball? We we could be up by 11 right now.catscat wrote:Weber blocks FG attempt with :07 left. Runs it back for TD but called back for block in back. Gets one untimed down. Half time score is 10 - 7 JMU. Weber to receive 2nd half kickoff.

Ugh! JMU 49 yds in 2 plays for TD. JMU 17-14. 12 + left in the 4th.

Re: WSU at JMU
Weber's D finally cracks. Still a tight game but Weber offence is gonna have to do something besides one long TD pass.

Good response by Weber's O. TD - Weber 21-17.

First real signs of life from the Weber offense! Very nice. They've got a chance here!catscat wrote:Good response by Weber's O. TD - Weber 21-17.

Re: WSU at JMU
So here's a question. How will you feel if Weber, Kennesaw, and sdsu all end up in the semi's?
I'd be a little pissed about our frickin 2017 schedule, but also very excited about how close the Cats are to these teams.

Holding saves a JMU TD. Weber giving up yards in chunks here.

Re: WSU at JMU
Good chance SDSU makes it. Have to see about Weber here. Don't know if Kennesaw will make it or not. I'd not be upset with the schedule. We were in position to win all those games - maybe beat ourselves. Anyway, those games were winnable. The schedule is what it is - you just have to be good enough to win!!91catAlum wrote:So here's a question. How will you feel if Weber, Kennesaw, and sdsu all end up in the semi's?

Re: WSU at JMU
Weber toughened up at the end and held JMU to a FG. 21-20 Weber. They need at least enough offense to take a bunch of time off the clock.
