FCS playoffs

Post by iaafan » Fri Nov 24, 2017 10:29 am

I got Weber and NAU winning tomorrow. I think Weber beats SUU next week. I don’t give NAU much of a chance against ndsu. Would be cool if they won though. I expect Weber to give James Madison a game. Obviously I think Weber is very good.

Other first round games I have Stony Brook, N. Iowa, New Hampshire, Kennesaw, S. Dakota and Elon winning. A JMU-ndsu final seems inevitable, but I’m not rooting for that. I’m taking JMU to win it all.

I agree, Weber is a physical football team, I think they win too. I like NAU at home as well IMO. I'll take Kennesaw st, not sure who they are playing, but they offense is hard to stop.

How about Montana State University playing four playoff teams this year and it would have been five if Southern Utah was on the schedule!

We had a tough schedule. I don't think some fans get that. I think it really will help us next year.

I agree with your picks. Was the WSU starting QB out for the SUU game? Southern Utah is tough. Either one will do well for the BSC.

NAU VS NDSU would be a fun game to watch. I have a feeling NDSU will prevail.

Yes Cantwell left the game in the first period. Concussion protocol

Kennesaw with a long 86 yard TD drive to use most of the 2nd quarter and go up 14-3 just before half.

Furman tied at 21 late in the 3rd.

Impressed with Kennsaw, a running team, going to the air and scoring a td in under 90 seconds to close the half.

Ya very surprising end to the 2nd quarter. Samford hits a deep ball TD and leaves just under 2 minutes, then Kennesaw drives the field for a matching TD.
21-10 half

Furman leads 28-27 with 6 minutes left. Good game!

Keep the updates flowing 91, much appreciated. I don't get ESPN 3... I hate Comcast.

No problem! Weber down 3-0 end of first. Weber offense struggling to do much early but they have the ball just across midfield now.

That was a nice play.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14.

Good hustle by Weber on that int. I think the int will survive the review.
