NAU @ UM

Is there a good reason why Glasgow and Stiles are calling the game from the Root studio in Seattle and not at the game?

It's bush league.

Cookus ejected for targeting on some stupid gadget play.

Unreal.

Cookus ejecting on a targeting call, that was not targeting. And Stitt on camera showing his true colors cheering for the ejection. What a douchebag

Unreal.
Terrible call. Cookus leads with his shoulder, hits on the defenders shoulder, and gets some incidental helmet contact. Total homer call.

It's the rule. Whoever the coach is that called that play and put him downfield as a blocker is to blame. Such a dumb play call.

Agreed. Plus the play was essentially over by the time he attempted to make that block.

The rule is forcible contact to the head or neck of a defenseless player. The forcible contact was clearly to the shoulder. The targeting penalty requires 1 of 4 indicators-none of which were present. The Griz players clearly wasn't a defenseless player. It wasn't targeting on 3 of the criteria required.

I don't see how you can attempt to pin a bizarre ejection on a clean block on the play call.

Big Sky refs hosing a team in Missoula? Geez when has that ever happened? And the griz defense gets to take extra shots on their quarterback out of bounds-no flag. Good luck NAU-you're going to need it.

The Innovator with 67 yards of offense at halftime.

-5 passing. Also benched his starting QB after 3 plays, unless The Stitt Show got yet another QB injured.

Glascow just said that they were weather delayed out of Seattle.

The Cat-griz volleyball game scheduled for today in Missoula was postponed because the Bobcats were stuck in Seattle and the griz were stuck in Portland yesterday. Must have been quite a mess.

Is there a more dirty player in the Big Sky than Josh Buss?

Wait, how was that on NAU?
