UND vs griz

Post by 91catAlum » Sat Oct 14, 2017 1:18 pm

0-0 mid way thru the first. Jensen threw a pick on the griz first possession, und has gone 3 and out twice.

JLM just ran a punt back for a TD, but called back for holding.

Griz score on a 30 yard WR screen. If you can't defend that play, you can't stop the griz offense.

7-0 still middle of first quarter.

Stensrud must be injured? Looks like und could use him.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14.

If und is to remain in this game, they'll have to get some offense going and tighten up a little more on defense.

10-0 griz with 11 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.
Und still without a first down.

Switching over to the MSU game now. GO CATS!

UND looked like the worst team in the conference. Their first four possessions were 3 and out. A couple of these possessions were in Griz territory and they end up punting. Defense looked like they did not want to be on field. The ND starting quarterback not playing today eliminated any chance for ND to compete.

Yep, that was an epic fall from grace. UND is absolutely terrible, literally one of if not the worst team in the FCS.

Outside of the early hiccups Jensen looked awesome. Don't want to jinx him, but he has a ton of weapons at his disposal and could end up being the best QB we've had since Dave. Just an awesome get by Stitt and co.

Why only 41 points then? Chris Murray put up 49 on them, on the road, and half of BN wants him benched cuz he didn't beat Eastern.

Sorry for the snark, I'm just not digging the negativity here this weekend.

I think scoring 41 after 3 early turnovers isn't too shabby. No real reason to try to run up the score against a severely depleted UND team.

If Jensen looked awesome and could be the best QB since Dave, then Murray could be better than Dave based their performances against North Dakota.

Id take Jensen's 459 total yards of offense any day over Murray's 306 yards of offense.

Consider the opponent. Then have another toke.

Those were their totals when they played UND..

Sh!t. Jensen's 1st start as a Griz racked up 459 total yards of offense on EWU compared to Murray's dismal 223yds and you're saying I need another toke.. hahaha

Oh ok. Then I'll have another toke... [emoji28]

Still not an accurate comparison. MSU had other RBs with lots of yards.
Plus und had their starting QB when we played them, from what I saw early in the griz game und couldn't get a first down.
