Griz first scrimmage

Post by luckyirishguy25 » Mon Aug 14, 2017 7:23 pm

Anyone catch it? Or know someone who did?

I have a cousin who's a huge obnoxious griz fan, and he was not very happy!
He said this is Bobby's last year and his offense sucks!
They couldn't even get it done against the #2D.

I think this was possibly the best football conversation I've ever had with my cousin!

That's odd. From the tweeets I saw, it sounded like Tom Brady was playing QB, looking off safeties, reading blitzes, and throwing darts.

According to the tweets I saw it didn't go especially well. I'm not sure why they had a scrimmage so soon.

My brother in law who is a big griz fan in Missoula says this should be Stitts last year. They want Bobby back. He said that Bobby was second to Stitt in the last hiring process, not sure if thats true or not.

I prefer that they keep the Stittshow. I love the angst!!!

From an article about the giz.

"Phillips' first touchdown came on his third drive. On second-and-5 from the 37-yard line, senior wide receiver Makena Simis found himself wide open in the middle of the field and Phillips threaded the ball to him. Simis was wide open and wasn’t touched as he darted to the end zone."

How tough is it to THREAD a pass to a wide open receiver?????
